Chula Vista’s “Live Más Café” debuts Grilled Cheese Baja Blast
CHULA VISTA, Calif.—Taco Bell announced today their latest creation to land on the menu of their Live Más Café locations, the Grilled Cheese Baja Blast. Following the success of the Dirty Baja Blast, which is the fan-favorite “Tropical Lime Storm” flavored soda infused with vanilla cream, the new variant features a layer of melty cheese grilled to the outside of the cup and is available both as a freeze or the original fountain drink.

The freeze is topped with Fiesta Strips and shredded cheddar cheese, while the fountain drink comes with a side of nacho cheese, intended to be dropped in the drink boilermaker style. “The Grilled Cheese Baja Blast combines the signature innovation our fans love with a classic taste,” stated a company representative. “Mountain Dew Baja Blast, the Taco Bell Original that is turning 22 this year, is one of the most iconic parts of our menu, and this new twist takes it to the next level.”
The drinks join an expansive menu exclusive to the Live Más Café, a Taco Bell spinoff whose first location is in Chula Vista, with over two dozen specialty beverages ranging from “Aguas Refrescas” to iced coffees. Influencers were invited to the press event. One taste tester remarked: “Well, it’s certainly a unique experience. I’m glad they give you extra napkins.”
The Grilled Cheese Baja Blast and Grilled Cheese Baja Blast Freeze are available at all Live Más Café locations starting today and will be testing in the Minneapolis, MN metro area beginning June 31st.
